IPDSC World Cup Championships at the Taipei Open 2008

On the 4th of December 2008 was held in Taipei the Press Conference for the 2008 IDSF Asian Championships and the IPDSC World Cup Championships at the Taipei Open.

The guests at this important meeting were the IPDSC Vice President Mr. Tondon Daniele, the Chinese Taipei NOC Vice President Mr. Hsai, the Republic of China Sports Federation Vice Secretary General Ms. Lu, the Chinese Taipei DanceSport Federation President Ms. Liu Mei-Li.

The conference was open by the Chinese Taipei DanceSport Federation President Ms. Liu Mei-Li and she said that she is very glad that the 2008 IDSF Asian Championships and the IPDSC World Cup Championships at the Taipei Open will open soon, due to the week-long anti-government demonstrations at Bangkok, soon dancers could not arrive Taipei before the press conference but she hope they could arrive on time. The 2008 IDSF Asian Championships and the IPDSC World Cup Championships at the Taipei Open is the most important competition in Taiwan before 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung and she really hope every participants could have a wonderful experience in Taiwan.

Then Mr. Hsai repeat that the 2008 IDSF Asian Champion and the IPDSC World Cup Championships at the Taipei Open is the most important competition in Taiwan before 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung and he really hope every participants could have a wonderful experience in Taiwan. He is glad to see so many elite dancers from all over the world to participate the competition. And this is a wonderful opportunity for the international friends to know about Taiwan.

Mr. Daniele Tondon explain the important activity from the IPDSC during this last year and he is honored to take part of this important event. The IPDSC Presidium would like to congratulate with the organizers Mr. Royce and Mrs. Mary Yeh for the opportunity they give to IPDSC to organize the World Cup Championships here in Taipei.

During the Press Conference there were also a special performance by Mikko Kaasalainen & Adrienn Fitori from Finland and by Peng, Yen & Zi, Vicky and Wang, Charles & Hsiao, Janet from Chinese Taipei.
