Dear Tommy,

It is with great pleasure that I write this little update of the situation in the Netherlands to you.
As you know the official body in the Netherlands for professional dance sport related to the World Dance Council is the V.B.D., Vereniging van Beroeps Dansssport, of which Mr. Fred Bijster is President, David Simon the Secretary, Pauline Ladiges and Jan Biersteker are members and of which my person is the Vice-president.

Over the past weeks we had some very interesting discussions about the future of the professional dance sport in my country and a further meeting is scheduled the end of this month.

In the meantime and this with immediate effect it has been decided that the professional couples registered by the V.B.D. will be free to take part in all the I.P.D.S.C. competitions/events. There will be no restrictions at all.
