Commenced study of ballroom dancing in Toowoomba, Australia in l96l. Moved to Brisbane, Australia in l966. Commenced partnership with Carol Kimmins in 1968.
Became Queensland champion in l968 and was runner-up in South Pacific and Australian Championships in l968 & l969.
Moved to London, England in l970 for further study and annexed all the major amateur championships in England and Europe, including the British Open in 1976 and German Open. Also returned to Australia to win the Australian Open in l975.
In l976 immigrated to the U.S.A. in Chicago and commenced partnership with Beverly Kimmins and was successful in winning the Canadian Open Professional Championship, East Coast Professional Championship, and many others.
Franchisee with Arthur Murray Studio, Chicago l977-l982.
Became Director, Dance Research & Development for Arthur Murray International, Inc., January l983 and has climbed the ranks to present position as Executive Vice President since December l989. Member of Board of Directors since 1997.
